Primary 1 have had a fun filled day that focused on learning all about the story The Gingerbread Man. We started by reading the story and discussing who the characters were and where the story happened. After this we had stations in the class where we drew parts of the story, created play dough characters, shared our favourite parts and listened to the story on the c touch .
We then used our writing, How to make Gingerbread, to bake delicious gingerbread men and ladies. We followed the recipe really well and once they were baked and cooled we decorated them. Mrs Wood said they were delicious, and we all got a headteacher award sticker 👍
