This term we will be learning...

Primary 6 have settled in brilliantly after the Easter break and we have a lot of learning planned for this term.

This term we will be focussing on a variety of learning topics including...

• Fractions (Numeracy/Maths)
• Measure (Numeracy/Maths)
• Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (Health and Wellbeing)
• Topic: The Rainforest (Social Studies)
• Continued focus with strategies in Reading and Spelling. (Reading and Spelling)
• Earth and Space (Science)
• Various writing genres including; narrative, instructional, diary entries etc. (Writing)
• EuroQuiz (information to follow) for a team of 4. (This will be done remotely on Friday 14th May).
• Continued focus on EmotionWorks. (Health and Wellbeing)

We are also lucky to have a student (Miss Black) for 5 weeks this term who will be continuing to ensure continuity and progression with this learning in class. There will also be other whole school learning across the term. It's going to be busy but also lots of fun!
