What another fantastic visit as part of our 'Developing the Young Workforce Week' - this time, from Mrs Elms!
Mrs Elms brought in her beautiful dog Boyd, who was so well behaved, to help demonstrate her work as a vet. The children absolutely loved guessing some of the different things that dogs have eaten with the help of some x-ray images. The children then got to 'operate' on a teddy, ensuring they had all the appropriate clothing on beforehand.
All children from P1 - 7 had some fantastic questions for Mrs Elms and the children loved how interactive your talk was. We cannot thank you enough for taking your day off to come in and share your expertise, your love of being a vet and allowing children to see the opportunities that are out there for them.
