Primary 1 have been exploring the word UNIQUE.
We read two stories that explained and highlighted the importance of being unique. We talked about all our differences at circle time and shared positive things we can do that others find tricky and all our different expressions and features.
Mia, in Part of the Rainbow story, was so worried about her green hair. She was delighted when she completed the class rainbow and added the last colour.
Ling, in Cleversticks story, was so upset he couldn't do things his friends could. He found two paintbrushes and used them as chopsticks. He then showed his friends a new skill. We tried using chopsticks, and although found it tricky managed to pick up the lego pieces.
