What a warm and sunny week back!

Primary 2/3 have settled back into class really well and showing good manners and choices!

This week we have started to look at our new topic for the term - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! We have heard the story Somebody Swallowed Stanley and thought about the things we know and want to find out about this topic. We started by looking at plastic and realising that lots of things are made of it!

In literacy this week we have started to learn about Acrostic Poems and the main features of these. We have even had a go at planning and writing our very own one about ourselves! Miss Haverstock was super impressed with some of the ideas!

In numeracy we have been looking at our 2, 5 and 10 times tables and have made our own flashcards of these to help us! We have also been learning about money - coins/note values, adding up totals and giving change!

All in all it has been a very fun and busy week! We have enjoyed being back at school and even got to have our Friday Circle time outside!

I hope everyone has a brilliant weekend and I will see you all on Monday for another busy week!
