It has been a non stop week for Primary 7!
Author visit, swimming, Wiston Lodge, fire brigade visit and a community litter pick... they certainly deserve their holidays.
They enjoyed a visit from Lanark Fire Brigade today who let them see the different parts of the fire engine before trying out the hose. Then they were told about different dangers of wild fires and being around water. Good questions were asked and they were kind enough to answer them all.
This afternoon we then took part in a community litter pick. The sun was shining as we left school but the hailstones and snow quickly started! It didn't put us off however and we managed to come back with 4 full bags of rubbish!!
