We have enjoyed participating in Developing the Young Workforce week.
We started off by discussing the jobs we would like when we are older and the skills and qualities they would require. We have a range of careers including mechanic, baker, game designer and boxer.
This then lead us on to a discussion about stereotypes of jobs and how there is no longer 'jobs for the boys' and 'jobs for the girls'. We came to the conclusion that if you have the skills and abilities you can do anything!
Two of our talented artists in the class were also given the task of designing the front cover of our floor book and what a fantastic job they did!
