This week has been a busy one for our Primary 7 pupils. They have been working hard in all their learning and getting prepared for their transition days at Carluke High School next week.

Today saw the last of their 3 transition mornings at Law Primary where they have had a teaching input from a range of different teachers from Carluke High School. Today they enjoyed lessons delivered by Science, Art and English teachers. As always, their behaviour was exemplary and we are so proud of them.

Also this week they have been busy out in the garden with Mr Currie where he put them to work chipping stones, watering plants, replacing soil and pulling weeds. They garden is looking lovely! We also enjoyed some fun outdoor maths games and buddy time with P1.

Finally this week we brought our 'World of Work' focus to an end by taking part in interviews for jobs we would hope to have in the future. Here is what we had to say about it:
  • "I really enjoyed the 1:1 interview process. I felt professional and the two candidates I interviewed were very professional too". Zoey

  • "The conversations were engaging and everyone was able to answers the questions confidently". Anya

  • "Everyone took the interviews seriously as if it was a real job they were hoping to get". Kai

  • "When I was being interviewed I felt at ease because Arran was encourageing and engaged in what I was saying". Millie

  • "It was important to make the candidate feel relaxed and therefore I had to have a positive attitude and body language". Harry
