Almond Valley

When we are at Almond Valley we got to go down the slides. I went down with Ahmed and we went down together. It was so fast!  Lucy

When we were at the play park me and my friends went down the biggest slide. When we were at the middle it was so dark and we had on grippy shoes so we all got a bit stuck! Then we managed to get out ok - it was funny and a little scary.  Harley

I liked going on the subterranean trolleys.  When we went on me and Katie raced each other. Katie won! Eva

In the museum there were hats to try on.  I tried on the 'D' hat from the olden days school bit and I sat at the little desk.  Me and my friends looked at some old things that had been found.  In the mines it was dark and a little scary.  I saw a mine cart too.  Luke

I liked when we went to the play park bit.  I also liked the zip line bit because there was a little hut and me and my friends were playing a games, where one of us were the wolf, and the others were trying to hide inside so the wolf couldn't get us. Jackson

The alpacas were very cute, especially the baby one.  It was just lying down. Megan

There was a very dark tunnel and Eva and I went in first.  We got a fright when we saw the statues.  They were actually miners.  I don't think I would like to work down there! Katie

I liked the chair that I could swing on at the museum. I would like to keep it in my room. Ruby

I liked it when we looked at the turkeys and the peacocks because the peacocks had their tail feathers out and they looked really pretty. Lily Rh

I really liked when we got to see the tortoise.  We even got to touch it and then we had to wash our hands. Alex

In the museum I listened into an old fashioned telephone and I heard someone talking. Remoni

I liked when I got to touch the animals.  My favourite were the goats. Ahmed

At the zip wire I went flying down and almost slid because it was a little slippery after the rain.  I still had fun.  Sarah
