Primary 1 are exploring the Elmer stories and looking at his unique character. We are focusing on beginning, middle and end and describing his emotions from each story. We know these books are fiction and that Elmer is the main character with his cousin Wilbur in some stories.
We are also using non-fiction books to explore facts about elephants, the real animals. We hav a class library that is all non-fiction and have been using the books to find out information and record it. We labelled the parts of an elephant and shared these with our peers. Super learning primary 1, keep up the hard work.
