Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you to all of our families who successfully managed to log into Microsoft Teams using their Glow username and password. These were issued in a letter last Monday to all children as well as their details to access Sumdog. Should any families have not yet received these details please contact the school office and we will be happy to reissue this.
The homework across the school for the coming weeks through to the October break will be focused on 2 main areas;
1) All pupils will receive a reading book which will be either their class reading book or one that has been selected in consultation with your child's teacher from our libraries.
2) A paper based task which will link to either reading, writing or numeracy work that your child has already encountered in class. This work will reinforce learning.
Although each class will be issued with different tasks it is our intention to make these activities as manageable as possible for you to engage with your child. A short note of the tasks will be issued each week by your child's class teacher to clarify the homework to be completed.
We will be using Microsoft Teams more after the October break to share homework but at this stage we appreciate that some of our families are finding it difficult to use the software. We hope to try and remedy these issues with individual families over the coming weeks.
