International Dinosaur Day 2025 was on June 1st, so Primary 5 spent an afternoon this week roaring with excitement and celebrating all things dinosaur! 🦕

Primary 5 had a blast measuring and comparing the size of dinosaur feet, heads, and bodies with various measuring tools! They also got creative designing their own dinos, thinking about where they lived, what they ate, and their special features. With books and digital technology, they dug up some awesome dino facts and had a great time discovering more!

P5 successfully identified and explained the various skills they were learning throughout this lesson, such as, imagination, working with others, recognising reliable sources of information, amongst others.

We’ve really enjoyed celebrating international science-themed days and look forward to more exciting learning adventures!
