Please be reassured that our Primary 7 pupils will have an opportunity to mark the end of Primary 7 and a chance to celebrate their time at primary school. We will set out plans when school reopens and will consider social distancing / restrictions in place at that time. 
  • S1 choices electives are to be completed by all children moving up to Carluke High. This can be found in class team, please complete as soon as possible. The full booklet can be found in the news section and link within the message section on the app. 
  • All children have completed a written transition personal profile, with Miss Dunlop, that will be passed on to their new school. These includes personal likes and dislikes and information the students are keen for their new teachers to know. E.g. what helps them learn and their hobbies etc.
  • Mrs Wood and Miss Dunlop have met with senior management staff from both schools to hand over relevant information. 
  • Specific pupils have accessed enhanced transition as appropriate that will be ongoing as and when possible.
  • Pupils are taking part in a STEM project that was started at Carluke High in February. This continues and can be submitted onto their class team. 
  • New school ties have been bought as a gift from Forth for all pupils moving on to high school. 
Any new information / news will be shared as soon as it is available. Be reassured that we will make sure all children and families are well supported as much as possible.
