Tomorrow specially trained staff and volunteers from the NSPCC will deliver interactive assemblies and workshops.

With the help of their mascot, Buddy, they will cover topics like bullying and abuse, but without using any scary words or adult language. This is an integral part of our Health and Wellbeing curriculum.

They will give a brief presentation as part of an assembly about the importance of keeping themselves safe and will reinforce how they can get help if or when they need it. The goal is to help children identify a trusted adult they can talk to if they're ever worried about themselves.

The NSPCC deliver this to schools all over the UK. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact Mrs Wood.
