This morning, P6 and P4 joined together for a Burns Supper and Taster Session!

All classes have been focusing on different skills in class which link in with our learning so it was great to see the children engaging with so many skills here including being open-minded, making decisions and working with others.

Miss Dunlop kindly prepared a selection of Scottish foods including; haggis, neeps and tatties, shortbread, tablet and diet irn bru! Huge thank you to Fiona in the canteen for cooking the haggis!

Mrs Padkin addressed the haggis before all children got to have a little taste, if they wished.

Many of the foods children had tried before but it was great to see that several children were eager to try the unfamiliar foods (and even better, would like to have them again!)

We continue to be immensely proud of the children at Forth and our most precious times are when classes join together and we are all able to learn from one another!

We are so looking forward to seeing lots of you at our Scottish Assembly on Friday afternoon. You are in for a real treat!

A huge thank you for all your continued support,

Mrs Padkin.
