Primary 3 have been learning about different patterns and number sequences. They know that a pattern can repeat by shape, position and colour. We then explored this in relation to number by learning about different number patterns. We learned that a pattern can be continued by identifying the rule (such as adding 1, 5, 10 or 100).
Primary 3 have been busy making pattern robots which can process different number sequences and shared this learning by asking their partners to describe the rule the robot processes before calculating the last three numbers in the sequence.
