Primary 7 have another busy term ahead of them with lots of learning, hard work, leadership opportunities and responsibilities.

LITERACY

• Reading using the North Lanarkshire Strategies
• Active spelling and transferring into our writing tasks
• Writing - newspaper articles, narrative, descriptive pieces and instructional
• Opportunities for presenting in front of the class as an individual or as part of a group

NUMERACY

• Continue to embed Number Talk strategies using mathematical language
• Practise times tables regularly to improve recall
• Angles
• Fractions, decimals and percentages
• Length

• World War 2 linking to history and giving a sense of people and place
