Some highlights of Primary 5's learning, last week:
We read the story of 'Austin's Butterfly' and discovered the power of feedback! We learned that we can use positive and constructive peer feedback to support one another.
P5 identified that feedback must be specific for it to be beneficial. They trialled it and observed its power as their own drawings of butterflies began to become a closer replica of the inspiration photo, each time after feedback was given.
I was so impressed with how well P5 supported and praised one another during this lesson. Well done everyone! 🦋
P5 have also enjoyed developing their numeracy skills by exploring the concept of money. They have been practising adding various amounts of money and calculating change.
Finally, Primary 5 had a great time at a martial arts taster session delivered by Rivals Gym. Huge thank you to Rivals for this fun opportunity!
